Thank you, Ashwini for sharing all the facets of yoga with me and the class in a way that was safe, interesting, and fun! A big takeaway for me from this class is empowerment to teach of course, but also to be open to experiences with spirituality that I have for a long time had a reactive/avoidant response toward. Spirituality and religion are just tools in the workshop of the human experience. Just like there's no need to be afraid of or avoid a table saw once you see what it's for and how to connect with it, there is no need to fear and avoid spirituality or even religious practices.
